Museum of Engineering and Technology in Krakow – Main Stage (Hall F)

Św. Wawrzyńca 15, 31-060 Kraków

Cities have always held the promise of security, development, encounter, and the exchange of ideas. Today, however, modern metropolises are simultaneously becoming spaces of extraordinary innovation and growing complexity, places where the diverse logics of market, technology, politics, and everyday life clash.

How do we think about cities in a world that changes faster than the language used to describe them? What kind of cooperation do cities of the future require? And what do contemporary cities say about ourselves, about our understanding of progress, community, and quality of life?

The discussion will focus on the relationship between science, business, and local government, but also on the question of what kind of imagination modern cities require today?
