Copernicus Festival 2026

Artificial intelligence, the secrets of the origins of the Universe, tha language of apes, and the DNA sequances of our ancestors – Copernicus Festival 2026: Complexity brings these concepts and more together. Krakow becomes the beating heart of the scientific world once again, where ideas of culture and knowladge merge and thrive for the twelfth time.

From May 19th to 24th, the Museum of Engineering and Technology in Cracow (15 Wawrzyniec St.) will bring together scientists, artists and humanists to discuss the world’s greatest mysteries – from the cosmic ones to those hidden in the human brain and genetic code.

Jagiellonian University is carrying out the commissioned task “Copernicus Festival 2025-2027: Organization of three editions of an international festival popularizing science.” The commissioned task is financed from the funds of the Minister of Science and Higher Education.
