Copernicus Festival 2020

Time

We try to manipulate it, to lengthen or shorten its naturally flowing rhythm. However, the more we study it, the more we see how little influence we have on its course. Sometimes a few seconds evoke the impression of being a whole eternity, and a decade can pass unnoticed. We talked about time, its individual perception, the role it plays in the sciences, its philosophical dimension and also its literary depictions on October 6 versus October 11, 2020.

Due to the pandemic, the festival took place entirely online. We saw our guests on our YouTube channel, on Facebook and on Spotify podcasts. Please visit: https://www.youtube.com/user/CopernicusCenter

Funding: Subsidized by the “Social Responsibility of Science” program of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education,
Project co-financed by the City of Cracow.
