Mirosława Püsküllüoğlu – specialist in clinical oncology (2016), clinical pharmacology (2021), and palliative medicine (2025). Since 2022, she has served as the provincial consultant for clinical pharmacology in the Małopolska Voivodeship. She was an ambassador and currently serves as a lecturer at the European School of Oncology. Member of the ESMO-MCBS Extended Working Group.
She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Jagiellonian University Medical College, in 2008. She holds a Master’s degree in biotechnology from the Jagiellonian University (2008) and completed master’s studies in medical education at the University of Edinburgh (2016) and at the University of Ulm (2020). She has held scholarships from ESMO, ESO, and PSMMF and has completed numerous research, teaching, and clinical internships abroad.
In May 2025, she was awarded a habilitation (PhD) degree (NIO-PIB), with her scientific achievements focusing on population characteristics and treatment outcomes in patients with HER2-negative breast cancer with a poor prognosis. She has authored or co-authored papers presented at national and international congresses, including ESMO, ASCO, ASH, SABC, and PTOK.
She has six years of experience in preclinical work. She worked for several years as a medical director at a CRO, overseeing the design and conduct of large Phase III and Phase I registrational clinical trials. She has extensive experience as a clinical researcher in both commercial and academic trials. Since 2017, she has been associated with NIO-PIB, Krakow Branch, and currently serves as a professor at the Institute in the Clinical Oncology Clinic and the Breast Unit.
