Polish film, television and theater actress. She began her career with episodic roles in films by Krzysztof Kieslowski and Wojciech Jerzy Has. In the mid-1980s she rose to fame with roles in the films Train to Hollywood (1987) and Kingsajz (1987), which cemented the actress’ image as a Polish sex symbol. In the first half of the 1990s, she played roles in foreign films, including American and French films. She became famous for her comedic role as Ryszarda Siarzewska in the films Kiler (1997) and Kiler-ów 2-óch (1998), in the following years she also gained critical acclaim for her roles in the films Ajlawju (1999), Żurek (2003) and Ubu the King (2004), as well as a number of outstanding theater roles at the Dramatyczny Theater in Warsaw (2006-2013) and the Wybrzeże Theater in Gdańsk (since 2013).
