Anthropologist, head of the Department of Human Biology at the Faculty of Biological Sciences, University of Wroclaw. He conducts research in the fields of evolutionary biology, anthropology and evolutionary psychology, and is a member of several scientific societies, including co-founder and current president of the Polish Society for the Study of Man and Evolution (PTNCE). In a competition organized by the Polish Press Agency (PAP) and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MNiSW), he was awarded the main prize Popularizer of Science 2016.
