Agnieszka Kloch, PhD, works at the Department of Animal Ecology and Evolution at the Faculty of Biology, University of Warsaw. She writes about herself as follows:
I am interested in the evolutionary aspects of the parasite-host system, especially the interactions seen at the genetic level. Recently, I have also been working on genetic variation on a large geographic scale in the context of adaptations to diverse environmental conditions. My greatest achievement as a biologist is gaining the trust of a few neighborhood crows who recognize me on the street. I like cats of all sizes, and I have two at home: a Chemerland angora and a Podlasie platypus.
