Our genes have a complex architecture and alternative endings. The choice of which end of a gene to use in a given cell influences its proper functioning. Unfortunately, an incorrect choice can lead to a healthy cell turning cancerous. Professor Kinga Kamieniarz-Gdula will explain what science knows on this topic and where we are still searching for answers.
