Creator and head of the Sign Linguistics Laboratory at the University of Warsaw. Linguist, researcher of the grammar of Polish Sign Language (PJM). Author of dozens of works in the field of theoretical linguistics, most of them published in international publications. Recipient of numerous awards and scholarships, including those granted by the Foundation for Polish Science, the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Fulbright Foundation, the Kosciuszko Foundation, DAAD, Polityka weekly, the Stefan Batory Foundation and others. He has held academic internships in the USA (Yale University, Wayne State University) and in leading European centers (Oxford, Madrid, Potsdam). Member of the Polish Sign Language Council at the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy.
