Michał Araszkiewicz

Assistant Professor at the Department of Law Theory of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University. He specializes in the problems of modeling legal reasoning with the use of Artificial Intelligence tools. He works on various issues of legal interpretation and argumentation, law formation and dispute resolution. He works on problems related to the philosophical and legal implications of the use of intelligent systems. Author of more than 70 scientific papers. Secretary of the International Association for Artificial Intelligence and Law (iaail.org) – the oldest and largest organization devoted to research on Artificial Intelligence and law. Expert at INPRIS – Institute for Law and Society. Member of the Steering Committee of JURIX – The Foundation for Legal Knowledge Based Systems (jurix.nl) and the Board of Directors of the ARGDIAP Association, dealing with issues of argumentation, dialogue and persuasion (argdiap.pl). Legal advisor (acrlegal.pl), member of the Presidium of the Council of the Regional Chamber of Legal Advisors in Cracow.
