She directs the Translation Studies Center and the master’s degree program “Literary and Cultural Translation Studies” at the Faculty of Polish Studies of Jagiellonian University. Editor-in-chief of the journal Przekładaniec. A Journal of Translation Studies. . Acclaimed translator of English-language literature, including works by Joseph Conrad, Seamus Heaney, T.S. Eliot, Ted Hughes, Alice Oswald, Roald Dahl, Derek Walcott and Virginia Woolf. Editor of poetic translations by Czeslaw Milosz and Stanislaw Baranczak.
