Polish poet, long-time editor of the poetry department at Wydawnictwo Literackie (1970-1980). Winner of the Koscielski Foundation Prize (1973). In 1995-1997 she headed the Polish Institute in Vienna. A member of the Polish and Austrian PEN Club, co-founder of the Polish Writers’ Association (1989), and a member of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences.
