Planetary geologist, studying small impact craters on Earth and the processes that shape the surface of Mars. She works at the Institute of Geological Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences. A graduate of the UW and Michigan State University, she did her PhD at Universität Wien and worked at Exeter University in the UK. She has received grants from: Fulbright, NCN, Polish Science Foundation, Europlanet and Maria Sklodowska Curie Individual Fellowship. She enjoys travelling to various strange locations around the world in search of asteroid-hit sites and successfully escaping from venomous snakes, and in between trips she tears herself apart with glassblowing.
