Lasota Jean-Pierre

JEAN-PIERRE LASOTA – theoretical physicist and astrophysicist, author of more than 250 research articles and several books. He is a honorary professor at the Institute of Astrophysics in Paris and professor at the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Centre in Warsaw. For many years he was the director of the Department of Astrophysics and Cosmology of the Paris Observatory and served as a scientific advisor to the director of the French National Centre for Scientific Research.
