15 titles nominated in this year’s edition of the competition will compete for an award in 4 categories: Smart Book of the Year for adults, Smart Book of the Year for children, the best book in the opinion of the academic community U and the best book according to Internet users and readers of Dziennik Polski (the competition’s media patron). We will also award the most interesting entries in the competition for the best advertisement and the original cover design for the Wise Book of the Year, in which secondary school students took part. The official part of the Gala will end with a discussion on ways of popularising popular science books, with the participation of our special guests: Tomasz Rożek (Nauka. To lubię) and Karolina Głowacka (Radio Naukowe). The discussion will be moderated by Dr Kamil Kopij (Institute of Archaeology, long-standing member of the competition jury).
