One of today’s most influential brain researchers, Prof. Stanislas Dehaene of the Collège de France, will talk about how, thanks to neuroimaging techniques, we are discovering the brain’s deepest mysteries, such the emergence of consciousness, the mechanisms of learning, the operation of abstract concepts and mathematics. The tremendous advances we have seen in these fields in recent decades are due in large part to the work of Prof. Dehaene.
