How was the Universe created? What does it consist of? And what awaits him? Thanks to Albert Einstein’s general theory of relativity and modern observations, we have created what is known as the “theory of relativity. a standard cosmological model that makes it possible to formulate scientific answers to these perennial questions. However, the model also raises new puzzles – such as those involving dark matter and dark energy, which we cannot observe, but we can see the effects they produce. Prof. Ruth Durrer of the University of Geneva will talk about what we already know about the cosmos and what still remains a mystery.
