Is the multiplicity of languages the curse of the Tower of Babel or a valuable resource for humanity? What connects the loss of biodiversity with the extinction of languages—and can these processes be stopped? Professor Justyna Olko will answer these questions in a lecture on multilingualism and endangered linguistic diversity. We will discuss the languages of remote communities, but also those still heard in various parts of Poland.
