Professor Katarzyna Kaszycka conducted research at the Cradle of Humankind in southern Africa, where numerous hominid fossils were discovered, including the first specimens described as A. africanus, A. sediba, P. robustus, and H. naledi. In her lecture, she will review the most interesting recent discoveries in paleoanthropology, which shed light on the Denisovans, among other things.
