Wojciech Sady, born in Lublin in 1952, graduated in physics from the University of Warsaw. He earned his doctorate and habilitation in philosophy – the philosophy of science. Since 2001, he has been a professor of humanities. He has lectured at the Military University of Science and Technology in Koszalin, the Agricultural University of Poznań, the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, the University of Zielona Góra, and the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań, among others. He currently works at the University of Silesia. He was most influenced by the (very) late philosophy of Wittgenstein and the epistemology of Ludwik Fleck. Since 2010, he has published subsequent volumes in the series “History of Religion, Philosophy, and Science,” and has just (2026) completed volume V, covering the period from the mid-17th century to the mid-18th century. He summarized his research in the philosophy of science in the book “The Structure of Relativistic and Quantum Revolution in Physics” (2020).
