Can life thrive in all conditions? How does it manage to break through physiological barriers and inhabit the most inaccessible environments? Where – in the world of animals, bacteria, fungi and plants – do we find the biggest tough guys? Researchers of microorganisms (including fungi and non-scorchers) will take us on a journey through the mysterious world invisible to the naked eye. We’ll talk about the puzzling tenacity of life, its ability to survive and adapt – and the awe-inspiring biodiversity it creates.
