Head of the photo-editing department at Tygodnik Powszechny. Photographer and photo-editor, twice nominated for Grand Press Photo for her work, winner of this award in the Environment 2020 category. Portrait photographer, Author of photo essays from refugee camps in Uganda, Jordan and Kurdistan. Her work focuses on people who have been forced to flee their homes due to global crises. Her project “All the weddings of my. Mom,” based on archival wedding photos documenting social and cultural changes in the Polish countryside, was selected for Discoveries PHotoESPAÑA Week (Madrid, Spain).
Graduate of Cultural Management at the Faculty of Management and Social Communication, Jagiellonian University. In 2010 she received a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. Between 2000 and 2007 she was a photojournalist for Gazeta Wyborcza. She has presented her works in individual exhibitions in London, Madrid, Kosice, Krakow, Kielce and Elblag, as well as in group exhibitions, including in Krakow, Warsaw, Wroclaw and Zakopane.
