Robert Frank

Mathematician, statistician and professor of economics at the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management. A regular contributor of economic essays to the New York Times. He has a number of publications in recognized economic journals (“American Economic Review”, ‘Econometrica’, “Journal of Political Economy”), and is the author or co-author of more than 10 books (including “Principles of Economics”, co-written with Ben Bernank, head of the Federal Reserve in the crisis years of 2006-14). His books have been published in Poland, including “Microeconomics of which there was none yet” (2007), “Why did kamikaze pilots wear helmets? That is, economics without secrets“ (2009) and ”A society in which the winner takes it all. Why a handful of the richest own far more than the rest of us” (2017).
