UJ) \u2013 Head of the Materials and Nanomaterials Technology Team, university professor at the Faculty of Chemistry, Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Member of the Jagiellonian University Climate Council for the 2021-2024 and 2024-2028 terms. President of the Council of the Electrochemical Energy Storage Consortium &#8220;PolStorEn.&#8221; Co-founder (2014) and President of the Management Board of MarCelLi Adv Tech Sp. z o.o. \u2013 a technology startup established to commercialize material technologies for safe and sustainable lithium-ion batteries developed at the Jagiellonian University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He specializes in the design, synthesis, characterization, and technology of advanced functional materials, nanomaterials, and (nano)composites (including synthetic and natural polymers) for sustainable energy storage and conversion, particularly in lithium-ion and sodium-ion (Li-ion, Na-ion) battery technology and catalytic removal of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). He is the co-author of 147 original scientific papers (h-index = 28, 2120 citations), 39 granted patents (foreign and domestic), and 2 patent applications.
