He is a member of national scientific societies, including the Polish Linguistic Society, the Polish Society for Social Communication, the Polish Society for Cultural Studies and the Polish Society for Film and Media Studies. Popularizer of the art of film, activist of Film Discussion Clubs, cooperates with the Polish Film Institute (among others, as a lecturer at the Academy of Polish Film).
