Since then, cosmology has developed through a close collaboration of theory and observation, leading to the Lambda-CDM model with its mysterious ingredients: dark matter and energy. Professor Peiris from the University of Cambridge will discuss her journey through this dynamic field of research and how laboratory experiments are helping to test new ideas in fundamental physics.
