His experience includes strategic planning in the broadest sense of corporate finance, building engaged teams, developing managers and specialists, and leading business transformations from a process and systems perspective. Pawel has successfully planned and implemented comprehensive change management projects across various business areas, hierarchies, and countries, harmonizing organizations, teams, and business cultures to create strong and efficient new entities. For many years, Pawel has actively promoted cooperation between business, education, and the city of Krakow, with a particular emphasis on developing competencies for the future labor market. <p class="wp-block-paragraph">Tomasz Janowski is an entrepreneur, analyst, film and theater producer, publisher, and organizer of cultural and social events. He works at the intersection of culture, cities, public policy, citizenship, and the economy of values. He is the Chairman of the Council of the Institute of Civic Communities, a member of the Open Eyes Economy Summit Program Council, a program developer of the &#8220;City Idea&#8221; track and the OEES Prologue, and a member of the OEES Hub think tank. He also participates in expert work on the Krakow Development Strategy 2030/2050.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Among the most important projects co-created and organized by Tomasz Janowski are the Open Eyes Economy Summit in Krakow, which has held nine editions since 2015, the OEES Prologue: Krakow Day, which has been held since 2020, and the Urban Regeneration congress in Łódź. From 2015 to 2021, he also co-organized the Freedom Games in Łódź and the &#8220;Solidarity in Development&#8221; congress in Gdańsk.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Monika Sady holds a PhD in management sciences. She is an assistant professor in the Department of Public Management at the Krakow University of Economics. Since 2020, she has headed the Sustainable Development Team at the Cracow University of Economics (KUK). She is also the director of the International MBA program at the Krakow Business School.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">She serves as the UEK representative for the United Nations Global Compact and the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME). She also serves on the board of the PRME Poland Chapter. She represents the UEK on the Diversity Charter. She is an expert on the horizontal criteria of the Foundation for Polish Science. She is a member of the Working Group on University Social Responsibility at the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy, where she leads one of the research teams.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">She participates in and manages international scientific and educational projects of the European Union in the areas of social entrepreneurship, ESG, MOOCs, and collaboration between startups and corporations. She is a member of numerous national and international initiatives promoting sustainable development, social responsibility, and climate education. Collaborates with the Stock Exchange and the Polish Bank Association.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Przemysław Pałka is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, head of the &#8220;Consumer Law and the Economics of Attention&#8221; project (NCN OPUS), and an affiliated fellow at the Information Society Project at Yale University.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">His research lies at the intersection of private law, regulation, philosophy, and psychology, with particular emphasis on artificial intelligence, the attention economy, and mental health in the digital environment. He has published in, among others, &#8220;Nature Machine Intelligence,&#8221; &#8220;Artificial Intelligence and Law,&#8221; &#8220;European Constitutional Law Review&#8221; (Cambridge University Press), &#8220;Law and Contemporary Problems&#8221; (Duke), &#8220;Buffalo Law Review,&#8221; and &#8220;Journal of Consumer Policy&#8221; (Springer). He is co-editor of &#8220;Research Handbook on Law and Technology&#8221; (Edward Elgar, 2023) and &#8220;Proportionality in EU Digital Law&#8221; (Hart/Bloomsbury, 2024). Previously, he was a Yale Fellow in Private Law (2018–2020) and a Research Associate at the European University Institute in Florence (2016–2016), where he also defended his PhD (2017).</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Dr. Krzysztof Holak, Eng., is an assistant professor in the Department of Robotics and Mechatronics at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics. His research interests include computer-aided digital image processing in engineering applications – particularly in mechanical and civil engineering, including visual measurements of displacements and deformations, damage detection and localization, visual analysis of vibrations and structural dynamics, and non-contact measurements and structural health monitoring. He also researches vision systems for robots and image processing and analysis in biomechanics and medicine.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Krzysztof Holak was a laureate of the LIDER IX program. From 2019 to 2022, he carried out the LIDER/26/0103/L-9/17/NCBR/2018 project entitled &#8220;Vision system for monitoring the health of structures using motion and deformation amplification algorithms.&#8221;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">During his scientific work, he was a contractor in scientific projects related to, among others: structural health monitoring, vision systems for underwater robots, surgical robots, image processing in the study of mechanical properties of biological tissues and image analysis of aircraft engine compressor blades for damage detection.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Bogna Halska-Pionka – Plenipotentiary of the Mayor of Krakow for Cooperation with the Scientific and Academic Community. She holds a PhD in social sciences in the discipline of management and quality studies. She is an assistant professor in the Department of Leadership and Management in Education at the Institute of Public Affairs of the Jagiellonian University. She is the author of the monographs &#8220;Time and museum: management, reflection and practice&#8221; (UJ, 2024) and &#8220;Time management in the world of algorithms: A study of interaction with Chat GPT&#8221; (UJ, 2025) as well as scientific and popular science articles devoted to, among others, research methodology, temporal phenomena in organizations, management in culture and education, leadership and contemporary public policies.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">She has carried out and co-carried out research, training and evaluation projects regarding the development of organizational and leadership competences, implementation of equality policies and design of management processes in public and cultural institutions (including for the Spencer Foundation, EIT Culture &amp; Creativity, the National Centre for Culture, the National Institute of Freedom, NOSPR in Katowice and the Municipal Culture Zone in Łódź). In her work, she tries to combine the academic perspective with a practical (implementation) approach, believing that science should permeate all areas of life. Since 2021, she has been a member of the Krakow Council for Equal Treatment, where co-creates and supports initiatives for equality, diversity and anti-discrimination.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Urszula Stachewicz is a professor at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. She earned her doctorate from Delft University of Technology in the field of fluid electrohydrodynamics, developing electrospray as a technique for precision material deposition. She conducted her doctoral research in collaboration with Philips Research Laboratories in Eindhoven. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Queen Mary University of London and worked at Nanoforce Technology Ltd., where she focused on polymers and electrospinning.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In 2018, she conducted research at the University of Cambridge, Faculty of Materials Science and Metallurgy. Her research focuses on the properties of electrospun fibers and their applications in water and energy harvesting, as well as biomedical engineering. In 2020, she received a European Research Council grant (ERC Starting Grant, BioCom4SavEN). In 2024, she served as the main organizer of the 8th International Conference on Electrospinning in Krakow. She is the co-author of over 140 scientific publications, 5 book chapters and 7 patents.</p>
